Arrived quite a bit earlier than the agreed time, but the movers were quick, professional, and took amazing care of my piano :)

I highly recommend Ben's Piano & Furniture Carriers Ltd and would use them again. Easy to make a booking. Good and friendly communication. Gave me a the follow up call to discuss my booking details. Very helpful as I requested extra items, at short notice, to be included in the collection and this was not a problem. I received another call on the delivery day to let me know the time they would arrive. Piano and other items arrived safely. The 2 movers were professional. Reasonable price. Great service and a job well done. Thank you.

I don’t enjoy leaving bad reviews but I was quite disappointed with the service provided from Ben’s Piano and Furniture Carriers Ltd. The initial communication to book the job was fantastic - very professional and efficient. However unfortunately the actual job didn’t go nearly as well. I double-checked timing and confirmed that the specific timing I needed was manageable for the team, prior to accepting the quote - I said it was a condition of me being able to accept the quote as the schedules of the people involved were quite tight being a work day and all. They said this was absolutely no problem and could work with this timing fine.
The person at the collection point could not do after midday due to work commitments, which was made very clear, they said they could collect between 11am-12pm. By 12:15pm they hadn’t turned up and there’d been no communication from them, so we called and the lady on the phone didn’t seem to know what was going and said she’d call back in 5 mins. 15 mins later and no word from her so we called back again and she said they were still half an hour out. The person at the collection point had to cancel work meetings, and they finally arrived to pick it up at 1pm. The person at the collection point re-emphasised and made it very clear that it couldn’t be delivered/the person at the delivery end couldn’t be there until the arranged and pre-discussed time of 4:15pm (no earlier - later was fine). Well I rushed home from work and arrived at the the delivery point just before 4:15pm, got inside the house and saw my piano sitting there ... they delivered it, without me being at the house, with no communication that they’d dropped it off or to let me know that they’d be early etc. and the only reason they had been able to drop it off early was because a flatmate was home from work sick. The flatmate told me that they turned up at 3:30pm and pretty much just said “we’ve got the piano” ... didn’t even ask if the person there was me and just dropped it off. It wouldn’t have even been such an issue if they had actually called in advance throughout the job to check/apologise/explain what was going on.
Thankfully my piano itself was well looked after and didn’t appear to be at all damaged, but I was really disappointed in their punctuality and the lack of communication after the job had been booked. The whole situation says a lot about the lack of respect they have for their customers and their schedules. Unfortunately I won’t be booking Ben’s Piano and Furniture Carriers Ltd. the next time I need to move my piano.

Fantastic communication and punctuality. Great price, and I loved that they made the effort to fit my piano move in so it happened asap. I thought getting my piano shifted was going to be difficult to organise but Ben's Piano and Furniture Carriers made it feel super easy. A huge thank you. I highly recommend this company.
