We Guarantee household furniture will be safely stowed and wrapped in protective blankets, mattresses and lounge suites will be wrapped in waterproof coverings for extra protection. Items that may be of particular concern are given special attention, for example, LCD TVs are professionally packaged and boxed. Leather lounge suites or stainless steel fridges are also specially wrapped.

We provide line haul services equipped with 50 cubic meter capacity specialized furniture units, complete with blankets and ties, to ensure your fragile freight arrives on time and damage-free every time. When it comes to moving office, you’ll want things to be as stress-free as possible, and for it to have minimal impact on your business operations. That’s why you need an expert team on hand.
At NZ Best Movers we cater for office moves from small operations with a few people, to large corporations.
Once you’ve accepted our quotation a dedicated move manager is appointed to every office move, irrespective of size or complexity. From the initial planning meeting to the moment your staff log on to their computers at their new offices, we will be on hand to deal with any issues quickly and efficiently.
OFFICE MOVING CHECKLIST
The process of moving offices is often underestimated. As a result of our experience and customer feedback, we have created this pre-move office checklist to assist you in planning the perfect move for your business
Early Planning
Appoint an appropriate staff member as your company’s move
co-ordinator
Consider your current office equipment and computer situation. What needs to be upgraded or replaced?
List all stationery and company letterhead that will need amending, plus new building signage and your website
Consider the security/access requirements for your new premises
Send a notice to clients/suppliers etc. that you are relocating, detailing changes such as PO Box or phone numbers and actual address
Inform staff of progress and developments throughout the process
Confirm layout of new premises and configuration of communication outlets

Distribute written moving instructions to all staff in conjunction with Nz Best Movers representative (if appropriate)
Label all effects in accordance with the new floor plan (labels supplied by Nz Best Movers)
Reserve access areas such as parking meters, entranceway, loading docks, goods lifts, notify the landlord in event of a multi-tenant building
Confirm delivery of new equipment, furnishings, stationery, etc.
Secure floor plan to each floor in your new premises to assist with correct placement of items and ensure Nz Best Movers has copies one week prior to move
Finalise arrangements for access, keys and codes for Nz Best Movers staff
Arrange for staff to visit the new site for pre-move familiarisation purposes
Finalise start time on the day of your move
Confirm items for storage or for distribution to other offices
