    Hi James,
Are there any steps and are you able to help with the lift?
    Cheers

    Hi Phil,
So, there’s a short hallway that lead one step down to a verandah, then it’s one step down to the grass. We’d go across the lawn, across the road and through the gate of the other house. I think it’s a similar step or two up to the verandah then one more into the house. I can definitely help out. It’s fairly heavy, but I’ll be around and can do that.

    Cheers,
    Jimmy

    Hi Jimmy,
Sounds pretty easy - and reckon we can cope with just two guys and our piano dolly - with you lending a hand....😀
Do you an expectation of price? Like to meet your expectation?

Sounds good. I’m really not sure what the price would be. I don’t think it will take too much time, but it’s fairly heavy and not something I’d be able to do myself!

Are you able to indicate a price?

    Cheers,
    Jimmy

Normally piano moves start at around $350 - but as this looks pretty easy and no vehicle is required, how would $200 sound?

    Hi Phil,
Yep, that sounds fair. When would suit you? We officially move into the new house on the 29th of January, but we can move the piano in the week (or two maybe) leading up to it. I have some days off during the week, as well as weekends at the moment.

Hi Phil, is this still something you’d be able to help with? Ideally between 24th or 25th but there is flexibility.

    Cheers,
    Jimmy

It’s my brother’s piano and they are fairly protective of it, so if you need additional staff or feel truck would be better, we are happy to pay more. Just keen to get on it organised. Thank you very much for your help!

    Hi Phil,
That would perfect. Thank you very mu for organising that. What sort of price would we be looking at?

Thank you very much! It’s a great relief to have that locked in.

    Cheers,
    Jimmy

Normal piano with wheels. On wooden floor so don’t want to damage floor

The piano needs to be moved to the house across the road. I don’t think it will require a truck.

Vertical piano (upright)
