It’s essential that you discuss your requirements with your motorbike transport company ahead of the delivery. Most of our movers on Wise Move are happy to transport any kind of bike in any condition, with or without accessories as long as everything is stipulated in the delivery request you post on our platform.
All of our bikes are delivered door-to-door where possible too, but if you know that the destination is hard to get to for larger vehicles, just let your driver know in the specifications and they’ll work with you to find a new drop-off spot.

Our pros always take everything into consideration when ensuring the safety and wellbeing of your bike. They take great pride in their work, getting your motorcycle from A to B without a scratch.
To help you get your bike wrapped and set for the big move, we’ve come up with several guidelines for motorbike transport preparation:
Carry out an inspection—before you even thinking about preparing your bike, have a thorough inspection over all parts of the motorcycle. This means you can spot any loose or unstable parts before it gets wrapped up, helping to prevent any problems while the bike is on the road.
Do a thorough clean—giving your bike an in-depth clean before it gets shipped off is a great way of getting a full idea of any defects, scratches or dents ahead of its departure. This is handy because in the unlikely event any damage is incurred over transport, you’ll be able to spot it right away.
Make a record of any issues—once you’ve inspected and cleaned your bike, it’s a good idea to get a dated record of its condition so you and the moving company can track any new problems. Take pictures to cover the physical appearance of the bike, and write down issues of a mechanical nature.
Remove any extra items—if there are any possessions or removable items on your bike, such as decorations or saddlebags, be sure to take these off pre-transport because your mover may not be responsible for these during the drive.
Ensure your bike is road-worthy—once your bike arrives at its destination, it may need to be ridden to the final drop off. You’ll want make sure the tires are properly inflated and that the tank has around a quarter of fuel – don’t fill it all of the way up as this will add excess weight for transport.
