Mixed review and experience. Some good but unfortunately we were let down by poor professionalism and ethics.
Good communication on Wise to begin with but on the day, I had to call them 15min after the scheduled time to see where they were, only then they said they will be 30min late. They efficiently moved the items into the truck and unloaded, completing our 2 bedroom house move in 3 hours, a solid effort.
Unfortunately a sour taste was left due to poor transparency and ultimately professionalism. While moving our sofa, one of the movers accidentally dropped an edge and in doing so, snapped one of the legs off. My wife and I both heard it and saw it happen, I was outside the house and she was inside the house. We then saw one of the movers put the broken leg into his pocket, I thought for safe keeping. We both thought it was an honest mistake, so let them continue with the move and we can investigate the leg later. This same couch was moved into the new house and when we asked about the leg to see if they had it so we can see how we can fix it and resolve it, they played dumb about the break and also said the leg was probably in the old house. We swept the house to double check and not surprisingly, no leg could be found. I will look to buy a spare leg and fix it myself but any email, text or phone call to ask for the leg, honesty, apology or contribution to the spare part has been ignored and met with no response (despite there being “insurance” for goods in transit). They even tried to delete this job so I couldn’t leave a review (I had WiseMove Support re-establish the job so I could).
All in all, I’d give 7/10 for the move but based on their lack of accountability and decent honesty, I would not be using them again.
