Did the job needed.
The mover tried to use 2 guys and then tried to charge an extra $50 for the second guy and requested cash as payment noting they had no payment facility on board.
It’s a fixed cost as noted at the time.
I also noted the driver and the worker arguing which isn’t a great look.
It also meant I needed to go to the cash machine which was an inconvenience.
If you can also provide an invoice thanks for the work.
Other than that they were careful and did a good job.

Hi Jeremy,
I can confirm that your booking was for 1 man + truck. However, because we had other jobs scheduled that day, we arrived with 2 movers + truck at no additional charge initially.
At the pickup location, both movers assisted with the loading, and you did not need to help during that stage. At the delivery location, we encountered difficult access with many stairs and narrow spaces. We became concerned about your health and safety risks involved with lifting heavy furniture through that access, especially for you our customer to be lifting in such environment.
Out of concern and to help make the move easier for you, we offered the option of additional assistance for the delivery portion, which was the more physically demanding part of the move. This was not intended to cause any issue, but rather to assist in a difficult situation we only became fully aware of on arrival.
Regarding payment, the booking confirmation states: “Payment method: cash/bank transfer. Payment timeframe: at delivery.” For that reason, requesting payment at delivery was in line with the booking terms.
We understand that moving can be stressful, and people are often dealing with different personal circumstances during a move. Our intention was to complete the move safely and assist where we could. Thank you.
