NZ Load Carrier

Truck leaked causing water damage to multiple items. Just opened my suitcase to find everything mouldy and soaking wet to the point where a cup of water came out of a boot. We were notified about small leak in truck however the extent of how much the truck did or did not leak was not passed on meaning my clothes and shoes have been damaged

Got the goods but comms and turnaround time was pretty shocking. I won't use them again. I cannot for the life of me work out how they've got the ratings they have to date. My advice would be do not use them if you want, any communication, action within 3 weeks, or anything that resembles service. Being fair when the goods turned up they were in good condition.

Item was delivered very quickly, and for what initially appeared to be a reasonable price.

Unfortunately, that was the only positive.

Communication was challenging at times.

My item (ag equipment) was improperly secured between Christchurch and Auckland, despite there being obvious tie down points for this purpose.

My item arrived with obvious new/transit damage to controls and housings.

Delivery driver either did not or pretended not to understand my efforts to ask about damages and left.

Followup contact with business was initially positive, with liability admitted and a promise to refund part of the original fee to cover part of the costs to repair.

However despite repeated promises, this refund never arrived and the business is no longer returning my contact.

Using this mover will cost me far more in repairs to the item than the most expensive quote received.

Extremely frustrated.

Communications after the booking was confirmed were poor - we had to follow up several times before we got any response. Once we connected with Bhupinder things improved. Our mattress got picked up, and then two days later another driver turned up to collect the mattress - so some internal coms issues too. Mattress was delivered in good condition, and we were grateful for that, however communication is definitely an area for this carrier to work on.

Convenient car freight from Opotiki to Dunedin. The vehicle arrived 4 days later than planned so did not coincide with my arrival to Dunedin and communication during that period was a bit difficult.

Far more communication needed. Not informed that truck had broken down until I rang to ask what was happening. otherwise very good and would have the company again.

Changed the pickup date with little notice but was due to ferry changing so not their fault. Overall good service.

Worst company I have ever used. No communication, i was told in an email communication delivery would be 2-4 days after collection, 19 days later I received the vehicle. They did not communicate the vehicle was not running at collection as it should have been, instead moved it around with a forklift causing damage to the exhaust.
After many calls and arguments, when they actually answered, they told lie after lie, "no ferry booking" "truck broke down" they Even blamed the "government" in one of their excuses. After I got angry with them on the 17th day, I was told I was threatened with violence.
No documentation, no condition reports, no receipts.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
I have filed a complaint to the commerce commission regarding business conduct.

They took my furnitures including a fragile telly from East coast to Westcoast with care. The communication was superb and there were no issues all throughout the moving process. Highly recommend.
