Received a call the day prior that they’d show up at 8 am. They were 2 hours late and we had to reach out to them to see where they were. One of them was sitting in his car outside our house… for 2 hours. They moved everything out within 40 minutes and then immediately asked about payment before delivering to new location. Once arriving at the second location they informed me they would charge more because of the scaffolding on the building - which I had informed them about the day prior. I brought up the little stuff into the apartment and asked them to only take the bed upstairs. Once the movers had left I noticed that a drawer on my desk was COMPLETELY BROKEN. The younger guy was amazing. He did most of the heavy lifting and was more careful about our belongings. He also figured out a way to get the bed upstairs when his counterpart said it wouldn’t fit. If I could go back, I’d give the extra money they asked for directly to the younger guy.
