Hi, your frustration is understandable, 3 weeks can be the norm from pickup to delivery, we had 4 days of no ferries due to large swells, even sitting on the wharf after checking in there was a further delay of 3 hours. Unfortunately the general population is unaware of the frustration caused by the ferry situation here in NZ.
Now winter time there are only 3 sailings per day instead of 5 + so this takes more time and coordination

Communication was initially ok. I had set a day to be in Auckland when advertising the job. Ability to deliver straight away was compromised by the weather, certainly no hard feelings about a few days drift, but it was nearly 2 weeks. Car was damaged and no responsibility taken.
