To be fair to Brian the ferry between the two islands has a big back log.
I brought a car and paid $1800 to transport when I was assured it could be delivered by a set date, the car sales was prepared to transport at their cost.
I was prepared to spend the money to ensure I had the car for a prepaid function.
the date for delivery was not achieved.
An expensive mistake for me, however I did receive my car all be it too late.
I would use Brian again as he had good price point, maybe not in a time crucial situation.

Yes unfortunate, on the way to catch the 8:15 am ferry Thursday morning received a txt notifying that sailing had been canceled due to technical issues.
Eventually got a sailing at 1AM Monday the 30th, I did park on the wharf in Wellington that Thursday, the Thursday night and all of Friday hoping for a space to become available.
If we were able to catch that ferry as per booking you would have had your car Thursday night or latest Friday morning.
In time for your pre organised event.
We collected your car a few days after notification from you from the dealer you purchased from.

Just to clarify a point, are you saying you refused the offer from the dealer of free of charge transportation and gave the job to us at extra cost to you?
