Owner’s Risk – Terms of Carriage
All moves and transportation services provided by Cheap & Unique Movers / Chahal Vibes Ltd are carried on an Owner’s Risk basis in accordance with Part 5, Subpart 1 of the Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017.
Under an Owner’s Risk contract, the carrier is not liable for loss of or damage to the goods being transported unless the loss or damage is intentionally caused by the carrier.
By accepting our quote and confirming your booking in writing, including through Wise Move, Xero, email or another electronic method, you acknowledge and agree that the goods are intended to be carried at Owner’s Risk and that you have read and accepted our terms of carriage.
Customers are strongly encouraged to arrange suitable contents or transit insurance for their belongings.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or obligations that cannot legally be excluded under New Zealand law.

Harry arrived 2 hours late and was a bit slow in communicating the delay with me however once he and his colleague arrived they were very pleasant and took good care of our furniture.

As I explained, our truck unexpectedly broke down that morning, so I had to take it to the workshop and arrange another truck, which unfortunately put us behind schedule.I also missed your call while I was dealing with the situation, but I returned your call within around 20 minutes and updated you as soon as I could. I completely understand that the delay was inconvenient.
