Muneshwar was fantastic to deal with. Great communication, on time with both pick up and delivery. Him and his team did a great job, despite having bipolar weather. Very professional, had everything you could think of and even helped dismantle items that required and was a trooper when we had a more items than originally thought.

The guys out did themselves and my expectations. They communicated with me promptly. They had to pick up from multiple addresses, and nothing was a problem. Everything arrived in New Plymouth without an issue - nothing broken and everything was placed inside so we didn’t need to move any of the heavy things around the house ourselves. I can recommend discount movers with out hesitation. Thank you for making moving my Mum so easy for me.

He was amazing. Kind and courteous. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

Muneshwar is a gentleman. However, he was under-resourced to load a 4 bdm, 2 living home. Therefore, a job that should have taken 4-5 hours took 7.5 hours. Cabinet glass breakage, as well as a number of wooden furnitures bruised.
But, I guess you get what you pay for.

Definitely rate these guys! Very professional and overall the team was fantastic.

Another big help during a pretty stressful time.
This is the 2nd time using these guys & id not hesitate to use them again & i will certainly recommend to friends.
Despite some difficulties accessing the storage unit (and more stuff than we all estimated) Muneshwar went above and beyond what i would have expected, again.
He & his friendly offsider completed the move without complaint nor extra charge.
Hard working guy, who clearly knows what he is doing + how to pack, stack & move things. So glad i didnt have to personally lug all my crap 3 1/2 hours away, in the middle of summer!
If you are still wondering if you should move your own stuff or have someone do it for you- go for the latter.

Highly recommend this moving company. We were able to move houses with ease and no worries. Absolutely impressed with the level of care as well as the assistance to not only move our belongings from one city to another, but place our belongings in the right areas of our home to make unpacking easier. We appreciate the hard work that goes into moving houses.

The only thing that irritated me was that the carrier didn't communicate that he wasn't coming on the planned day.
We waited all day and when I realized how late it was getting, I got in touch to request an ETA only to be informed that it would be a different day.
Fortunately it wasn't a date-critical delivery, my friend and I were just annoyed that we had both wasted our entire Sunday waiting to unload a truck that wasn't even coming.
Muneshwar didn't realize the weight would be an issue for his truck, so I appreciate the extra effort he went to in order to get the job done.
Other than that, all went well. Cheers.

Lovely team a pleasure to deal with

My shift with Discount Movers was by far the best experience I've had with moving companies. Muneshwar and Toko are super lovely to work with and I really enjoyed their company as we went about loading everything up. Although the move was a big one and took many hours to load, carry and unload, the men's attitude was always friendly and calm, and despite the challenges involved they never showed stress and always took great care with my stuff. They went the extra effort to do a great job, and I thoroughly recommend their service, without the slightest hesitation.

Not only did they do an awesome job of the huge shift at a very reasonable price and care for my gear so well, they were always thoughtful, considerate and genuinely caring, with excellent communication and a sense of humour. It was a privilege to meet Muneshwar and Toko, and for me and my endless piles of stuff to be treated with such respect and care. I wish them all the best.
