Very good to deal with with and punctual communication but I did not feel like they paid much attention to my requests which ended with a lot of stress when doing drop off. In saying that the staff were good, price was good and I would use them again.

Mangal and the team at Faithway were excellent. They had great communication, and kept me updated before and during the move. They were efficient with loading the truck even though it was a difficult pick up as there was no off street parking. I would happily recommend them to others.

Overall the experience was good, a great price and the delivery guys were good. However, they arrived with our items at 9 pm on the delivery day which was a bit too late. I would have expected them to let us know it was going to be that late but we only found out because we called and asked.
They told us they were going to wrap the couch and the bed and it looks like they did not, resulting in some concealed damage to the bed headboard. Other than that there were no damages.
Overall definitely worth the money, but a bit more communication would have been preferred.

Took 12 hours to do a 6.5 hour route. Even with required stops (& and detour they told us they needed to take) something doesn’t compute.
Not the best care taken, boxes were upside down.
They were the cheapest though, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Hi, thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the travel time and handling of some of the boxes.We would just like to clarify the travel time from our side. The 6.5-hour estimate shown on Google Maps is based on travelling by car, not a fully loaded moving truck. Trucks have different speed restrictions and our drivers are also required to follow NZTA work-time and mandatory rest-break requirements. These are legal safety requirements that our drivers must follow and cannot simply skip in order to match a car’s estimated travel time.
In addition, there was a road closure around Turangi on the day of your move. Our driver had to take a significant detour of approximately 180 km, which added around 2 hours to the journey. This was completely outside our control.
We do take your comment about some boxes being upside down seriously. Our team is expected to handle customers’ belongings with appropriate care. If any of your belongings were actually damaged during the move, please contact us directly with details and photos so we can review the matter.
We appreciate you acknowledging that our communication was fast and polite. We simply ask that the travel time of a commercial moving truck, including NZTA requirements and an unexpected major road closure, is not compared directly with the normal Google Maps travel time for a car.

I recently moved my one-bedroom home from Dunedin to Wellington with Faithway Movers, and overall, I had a good experience.
They were very communicative and helpful throughout the process, and I really appreciated how accommodating they were when we had some additional items at the last minute. They were able to take the extra stuff for a reasonable additional cost, which made the move much easier for us.
All the staff we dealt with were kind and helpful. They also helped us arrange everything properly in our storage unit, which we really appreciated.
The rates were reasonable as well. The only area where I think there could be some improvement is in handling the boxes and fragile items. A few of our boxes were torn, and unfortunately, some of the glasses that were clearly marked as fragile were broken during the move. I would just recommend packing fragile items very securely as an extra precaution, and hopefully the team can take a little more care with items marked fragile.
Other than that, we had no major issues and were happy with the service. I would definitely recommend Faithway Movers, and I hope they continue with their good communication and helpful service while taking a little extra care with customers’ belongings.

We would also like to clarify a couple of points. As per your original booking on Wise Move (shown in the attached screenshot), you requested a two-person moving team. However, we provided three movers during collection at no additional cost to make the process quicker and more efficient.
Additionally, Auckland to Hamilton moves are normally completed on the same day. However, at your request, we arranged overnight storage of your belongings at no extra charge.
We sincerely apologise for the four-hour delay in delivery and understand the inconvenience this may have caused. We always strive to provide a reliable and professional service, and we will take your feedback on board to improve our scheduling and communication.
