Did what was asked in terms of executing the relocation. The staff members on the ground doing the move did great.
The management team is shockingly bad, incredibly rude and very one sided. There is no formal documentation provided to ease your nerves or help you understand how they operate. I was nervous about the move, the management team told me only that its all carried out under my risk, basically, that they do not care about some or my concerns and told me to get stuffed, despite the fact that I paid 3100 dollars. I asked for a receipt afterwards that I can provide to IRD (as it forms part of a relocation allowance), they did not even respond. Highly unprofessional, they provide only quotes via email, and really show that they do not care about customers, only about their money. The men working on the ground did take great care with my stuff, they could not have done any better. But the two managers I dealt with did not care about my questions and simply kept telling me its my problem and my risks if they break my stuff.(they did not break anything, but all I wanted to hear was that my stuff is alright, as I will not be at the location at the time of delivery) Without trying to help me understand a few points that are highly important to a person in my position. I rated care of goods one star as well, despite how well the individuals moved my stuff. The reason for it was that they did not help me understand how they take care of goods, told me its my problem if they break something, and that its my problem. And they pushed me almost aggressively to pay up immediately, which I did because they did afterall move my stuff. Despite all my stuff arriving perfectly fine, yhey made it very apparent throughout, management, not the men moving the stuff that they just want the money, and do not care about their customers, their concerns, or movement requirements being the documentation necessary to support my relocation. No contracts, no receipts and no guidance. If I could rate my interaction with the staff moving my stuff, absolute 5 out 5. The manages genuinely however soured my entire experience and ensured the relocation is a stressfull experience despite how much I paid them. Genuinely would not recommend them, and still annoyed that I do not have a receipt to document a 3 thousand dollar transaction. Shocking.
Response from Furniture And Freight Distribution Group
Hi Werner,
Thank you for raising the concerns.
Please note that that while booking the job, you had initially mentioned to pick up on 21st and then store it for 1-2 weeks. However, after booking, we accommodated the changes and confirmed the job for delivery 23rd.
It was clearly mentioned in our quote that while we take utmost care to make sure that the items are safe, the move is carried out at Owner's risk. It was also clearly mentioned that payment will need to be received on delivery.
However, on 23rd, you mentioned that you will be arriving on 25th and we can leave the goods inside but you will be making the payment once you arrive at the property and check everything (which was not mentioned before). This was the time our management team reached out to you and reminded you about the Owner's risk clause but you denied to accept it. We also denied the late payment as we cannot deliver the goods without payment.
After discussion, our team delivered on 23rd, video called you, placed everything at place inside the house and showed you all the items on call. It was after the call (once you were ensured that the items are fine), you made the payment. You also mentioned that you were happy with the delivery and the team.
Hence, from our end everything was mentioned (on Wisemove platform) before the job and the goods were delivered without any damages.
