We provide every week deliveries for Trade Me purchases to anywhere in North Island and every fortnight delivery to anywhere in New Zealand.
We have all the truck sizes from 8 cubic meters to 60 cubic meters. So we can cover any size of load between a single item to a 5 bedroom house.
Terms & Conditions:
Our minimum charge is 1 hour, after the first hour we charge every 30 minutes (half of hourly rate/ 30 minutes).Payment is accepted via CASH or EFTPOS or Internet Banking (on trucks). a 3% surcharge for all credit card payments apply.It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they provide safe and secure access (driveway/pathway/parking/etc) to the property.There will be an extra charge of $60.00 each item for any extra-heavy/oversize items such as Pool table, Piano etc. It is customer's responsibility to let us know in advance if they have any items of such nature.It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they provide safe and secure access (driveway/pathway/parking/etc.) to the property. If there are any bridges on the way, customer should inform us of any weight restrictions on that bridge at the time of booking.If the access is bad, we may need to shift items using trailers or by adding an extra moving team and it would incur additional cost which needs to be borne by customer. If you cancel within 7 days of your booking for hourly price jobs minimum 3 hours of fee will be incurred and for fixed price jobs the full amount will be forfeited . If you cancel within 14 days of your booking then half of the above mentioned will be forfeited. Full payment required on completion or before depending upon the condition mentioned above. If not, late fee of $100.00 + GST applies and will continue to be charged every 24 hrs (capping at @ $500.00).All defaulting accounts will be referred to third-party debt collectors at defaulter’s expense.
Unless specified above prices are exclusive of GST and are quoted for 2 guys + truck.All goods are carried at Owner's Risk only please have your insurance organized. Please organize your own insurance.Should any glass item break unless factory packed or electrical appliances fail to operate after transit, the company does not take any liability.If any bridge has limited capacity or has weight restriction and a second vehicle is used in a small truck/trailer the hourly rate will apply and all the additional cost incurred in this will be charged to the customer regardless of it being a fixed price or hourly job.If the service is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, the company withholds the right to delay the customer’s booking by 2 hours without waiving any fees. Should the service be delayed more than 2 hours, the customer will be notified and will come to an agreement at the company’s discretion.Misconduct and unacceptable behavior with any staff member(s) may result in the customer’s booking being terminated, at the company’s discretion.Any sort of refunds if done they will be strictly done in the same bank account where it came from.

They were almost 2 hours late from another job (some proactive communication about the delay would have gone a long way - I had to call them to find out where they were at) , but other than that things went pretty smooth and they were good to deal with. They did bring on some additional people on the unloading side to help things go a bit faster, which was nice.

Trucks that was ordered for this move was one size to small so a few items had to be left behind and moved later

Wise move estimate was 15-19.8 cubic meters.

Hamilton Movers are unfortunately not living up to their claims of being a professional house moving company.
If I could rate them with a negative rating I would....
I know that when our goods were originally stored in the container items were covered and carefully packed.
The container held approx 40m3 of goods and it should all of been able to fit within the supplied truck if the goods had been carefully stacked and tied in. We got a phone call and photos saying that they were going to leave approx 10m3 goods behind as they would not fit... when speaking with the office they were full of excuses why they could not pack the items in. So when the truck arrived to deliver the goods I was extremely surprised to see more than I would of expected space to spare...
Some damaged items have gouges in wooden surfaces - table and chairs. Glass insert for the table smashed.
Bedside unit large and deep scratches on the top.
Boxes showed signs of being dropped and wrapped items smashed.
Leather lounge suite large compression tear in back from having something else shoved into it.
It was obvious from the way our items were removed from the truck, minimal care was undertaken at pickup and delivery.
To top it off, they then quoted a further $2600.00 on top of the original $5800.00 to collect the balance of our furniture and deliver it and that the insurance cover did not the items they damaged...
I passed on my dissapointment to the Wise Move platform operators and hope that they can take some action.

The transport company came a day before the moving date, they moved the all house in less than 2 hours without protecting the goods and stacked everything without any care.
Then, when they delivered, they left most of the goods in the garage, and refuse to climb the floors as agreed. They said they were tired and in a hurry. Most of the furniture have scratches or were broken. Very poor service; we will not repeat the experience. Communication with the office was ok.
