This was for a standard four bedroom house content's move.
The guys were good from the perspective of them being hard working and good at communication. They underestimated the job though - assumed it would take 6 hours but it took ~9 hours. This meant they had to come back another day to complete the job. The 9 hours could have been longer.
More detail: we clearly stated that the job included unassembling and reassembly of the beds but I ended up doing it. I also took off the railing in the new place to be able to fit the stuff going upstairs. Both of these were done by me to try save time.
They had challenges with the fridge as it was heavy and didn't have the expertise to remove the fridge doors so we ended up getting someone else to do it.
We had a concern regarding insurance. Initially they said they had insurance, but during the move they scratched our walls and when prompted about their insurance at the time they said they don't have insurance. Then said it's not their responsibility and the risk is on us so they're not willing to use their insurance.
Another positive: we also used their cleaning services for the old place, and they did a very good job with that.

The move extended to more than 11 hours due to the overall size and access challenges but you paid only 6 hours. While the booking mentioned two movers, we brought four to ensure efficiency, and no extra cost was charged for the additional manpower. we did not charged you for the extra trips of truck.
As noted in the quote form, assembling and disassembling of furniture is the customer’s responsibility, as is any property damage. In this case, the railing was removed by yourself, which unfortunately led to wall marks. Fridge was oversized and heavy and will not go to first floor unless damages to wall and fridge . On insisting, you was told that any damage to the fridge and walls will be your responsibility which you signed on the paper.
Regarding insurance, we do carry coverage, but it is the customer’s responsibility to pay the excess in order to use it because customer did the damage while removing the railing and wiring of the railing and effort for the fridge.
We also accommodated extra challenges such as hosing items like big heavy couch from the balcony and handling eight fleet of stairs, without adding extra charges.
We appreciate your feedback and will continue working on setting even clearer expectations for future moves.
