Rang the night before and asked if we could change the move to 8am rather than 9am. I agreed and was at the pickup location at 8am. When it got to 8:20am I sent a text and discovered the mover had gone to the drop off location and did not know where he was meant to be meeting me. When he later arrived at the pickup location he was not prepared to move some of the more fragile things such as the tv so we had to put this in my car, even though I had sent an itemised list of everything I needed to move. Overall not a terrible experience but definitely felt unorganised

We’d like to clarify a couple of points from the morning of the move. The TV was not packed in a protective TV box or adequately wrapped, and transporting it in the truck would have carried a high risk of damage. For that reason, we advised that the safest option was for you to place it in your car, which was done to protect your item rather than risk it breaking.
Regarding the location confusion, the address provided was for a large storage facility with a very big yard and over a hundred individual units. Unfortunately, the specific unit number or meeting point was not clearly identified initially, which caused difficulty in locating you on arrival. We apologise for the inconvenience this caused and acknowledge that communication could have been smoother.
