Welcome to Six Star TransportA little bit about us;
We are small family owned Waikato based car transport company. We are passionate car enthusiasts outside of our day job which gives us a good understanding what it takes to offer up your car to be transported.
Aside from cars, we can also transport freight, small/medium farm equipment, machinery, wheels, motorbikes and other goods.
We are currently doing two to four weekly trips from the Auckland region to the rest of the North Island. Once the ferries are more reliable we also intend to do one Auckland to Christchurch trip weekly.

Six Star picked up and dropped off on the days they said they would, only delaying the drop off time, but they let us know, so all good. When we booked them, Wise Move told us to expect them to contact us, but we did not hear from them until after they picked up, not really a problem, just used to lack of acknowledgement = let down. Impressed that did exactly what they quoted for.

Agreed to pick up & deliver in same day. No communication on day until I called him at 3pm asking when he’d make delivery to which he said he was stuck in traffic in Auckland & won’t be able to deliver them until Monday. When I checked my car’s trackers he had my cars in his compound in Hamilton at 12:40. Wife took a day off for nothing as he had no intention of following through on what he promised and lied to us. Not trustworthy at all.

Hi Dan In regards to your feedback I’m happy to elaborate more as I believe you may have miss understood what I had said to you.
The booking was originally booked for Monday the 4th this was pushed out to the end of the week which I was fine with, and yes I did state I would have been same day delivery but sadly with the Auckland traffic in the morning I didn’t get to collect the cars till 11/11:30 from Auckland rather the time I had intended.
It is a 2 hour drive from gt logistics to my house so I was home around 1:30 it is also a further 5 hour round trip to Turangi, after working out my log book hours from the rest of the week I would have been over my weekly working hours, delivering them to you that day, this would have not only put me at risk but my licence, business and family’s lively hood.
Yes I should have contacted you early that is my mistake, but with the change of pick up and being at the end of the week it didn’t work out.
