Perfection. I couldn't have asked for more. The guys came out and moved a refrigerator down a very tricky and tight staircase to a downstairs location. They were careful and smart about how they moved the appliance.

Great service called me as soon as I booked the job arranged a truck when I received my sofa was nicely covered and secured with ties was very easy and quick will definitely recommend them to friends and family

Terrific service

In 40 years of shifting nationally and regionally, I have a reasonable grasp on what to expect. These guys damaged my furniture some of it antiques, took 12 hours for a 2brm shift, agreed to wrap delicate things in blankets but used none, argued about climbing internal stairs, whined about how hungry they were, had absolutely no idea how to pack or manouver furniture around door ways and one was just downright creepy asking inappropriate questions. Do not use under any circumstances. They had a cancellation and arrived 6 hours early so we started early to accommodate them. At 9pm that night they refused to finish as they were paid hourly. I had to get another mover on the Sunday following. Delivery was refused until payment was made - in breach of carriage terms. Disgusted.

Unfortunately, this move was a very disappointing experience.

The movers were not careful with my belongings. One of my drawers was broken during the move, and when disassembling my bed frame, they repeatedly knocked into the walls. While no damage was ultimately caused, there was a clear lack of care and attention that could easily have resulted in property damage.

I was also concerned about the reassembly of the bed. One of the bed legs was not properly attached, and I was initially told that it was fine. I had to insist that it be corrected, as the bed could have collapsed or become unsafe for anyone sleeping on it.

Additionally, I specifically asked for several heavy boxes to be placed in an upstairs bedroom. After the movers left, I discovered that they had simply left all of the boxes at the top of the stairs instead of taking them into the room as requested.

Communication throughout the process was also poor. I had to follow up twice to find out what time the movers would arrive, and despite already running an hour late, there was no proactive communication from the company. While I understand that delays can happen, keeping customers informed is a basic expectation.

Although I appreciate that it was the first day for one of the movers, my main concern was the overall lack of care shown towards my belongings and the apparent lack of attention to completing the job properly. In fact, after seeing how my other items were being handled, I no longer felt comfortable having them move my TV and have had to arrange to move it myself. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this service.

We moved from a city flat to a house.
The movers were 30 minutes late and didn't communicate this. I had to chase them up twice.
We requested 3 movers, only 2 showed up. They assured me a 3rd person would be present shortly, no-one arrived despite us asking three times for this. We paid for 3 people.
Their response was "this is a busy time of the year for moving" and their colleagues were doing another job. I said I had booked and paid for 3 people, this should be guaranteed when you accepted the booking.
It took them 4 hours to empty a 2 bedroom flat with lift access.
Because they took so long, me, my husband and a friend helped them to unpack at the other end.
They said we had more boxes than the initial quote however I have no proof that a formal count was done. In saying this, we didn't do a final count either.
They took care of our belongings and everything was packed well. They were friendly.

Overall, this company looks like they accept as many jobs as possible and don't stick with the confirmed booking. I haven't recommended to my friends who have moved.

The two guys that came out were fantastic and very respectful.
Did a great job.
It was unfortunate that only 2 were sent, and the price went up due to unforeseen flights of stairs, both of which were specified prior to the booking.

The two movers turned up on time and took care of the items, all items arriving as they left. They were professional and polite, and offered to help install the washing machine. The truck was large enough to fit a California King Bed. Thanks for your help team!

'Super Movers' were great. They were timely and careful and communicated well. Booked me in quickly when another carrier (Specialist Piano movers)let me down.
'Specialist Piano Movers' accepted my request then never bothered to get back to me - at all! Don't book them!
Office Admin person was great, assisted me all the way by getting another carrier for me urgently. Very good Customer service.
I have used Wise Move before, on a large move from the South Island and I would definitely use them again.

They arrived later than the agreed time for collection at the pickup point, but thankfully we weren’t in a rush that day. Aside from that, everything went smoothly, the team was professional and reliable. I would definitely use their service again.

The men went the extra mile when the sofa didn’t fit through the final door, by shifting another for me into the space and repositioning the other sofa in another part of the house. While it did cost me more than the accepted price, the degrees of difficulty they encountered, and accompanying perseverance they demonstrated, made it a reasonable amount for their extra time.

I highly recommend the team for being so punctual, helpful and productive. They delivered high quality service and ensured my belongings are safe and secure while moving.
