Have damage to four of my items - scratches, dents and duchess draw that is cracked and crooked.
Rang to discuss with Ronald and got told that’s what happens when you move and no refund offered but if I wanted anything else moved they would do it for free…. Why would I want them to move more of my stuff after having my stuff damaged.
Very rude, even implied that I was making the damage up to get a refund.
Very unimpressed with the service and response, very unprofessional.
DO NOT recommend them at all!

Hi Tiffany, Honestly if we move anything, we give our 110% care to all items as our our. Also if anything gets damaged we straight away mention this to the owner. We are sorry to hear as so many of your items got damage. Your load was desk stacked, these were no even stacked onto of each other for get damaged. Offer is still there in good faith if you do change your mind.

Our Insurance Clause as below:
All removals are at owner’s risk. This means no compensation will be paid for any losses, damages or shortages. It is acknowledged, agreed, and declared that the Contract of Carriage evidenced hereby is a Contract for Carriage at owner’s risk. This means that the company as carrier will pay no compensation if the goods are lost or damaged unless the company intentionally loses or damages them.

This team of movers was excellent, I loved the way they handled my furniture so carefully and I was always kept up to date with what and when things were happening. Ronald as team leader was lovely to deal with and was most obliging when I mistakenly ordered the wrong size truck for my move. 5 stars from me!

The 2 guys sent did an awesome job and worked really hard and were careful with our belongings. Unfortunately the truck was too small for a 4 bedroom home and 2 trips had to be made which blew the budget and put a huge amount of pressure on the workers to get to their next booked job so it kinda fell apart at the end. A bigger truck and another person would have enabled the workers to get to their next booked job on time and been a more reasonable cost to me.

Thanks for your Feedback Kylie. Yes, an extra person would have made a difference with extra cost for 3 men. We provided our service based on your request or we normally send 3 men for 3 to 4 bedroom move. In moving house we kind of can estimate time but can't say exactly how long it will take.

Jeff and Travis from Truck About Movers were amazing. Absolute machines. My husband and myself were gob smacked as these guys never stopped for 4 hrs. Nothing was an obstacle for them not even lifting the heaviest mattress on earth upstairs or an exploding Ikea duchess full of books. Polite, courteous and with a sense of humor to boot. Worth every cent. Great Kiwi guys.
