No worries, have done a quoted price for you.
If you need help with applying to Winz for their relocation grant we can help.
If you do get a cheaper written quote please do let us know so we can try to match or beat it thanks

With the quote would that be for just the mover to pick up - to drive to location and drop off? Or for us to hire the truck and drive ourselves

Hi, we turn up, we load up with some help from you, and we drive it down and unload it, again with some help from you for large or heavy items thanks

We also have a 6 by 4 foot cage trailer that we can load stuff into

Would that lower the price much?

Hi, that's always good to have!
The main cost is of course the ferry charges and the sheer distance.
We could use the trailer though, as that saves us having some of the dirty, smelly, or messy garden stuff in the same truck as your beds

So we would take the trailer with us with the garden stuff in it

Yes, just saves any risk of smells or dirt, especially from garden tools like lawnmowers etc leaking fuel.

Would we be able to change collection date to the 8th February? To give us more time to pack stuff up and drop off stuff at delivery address on 11th February?

sorry to be a pain, but can you check and fill the inventory calculculator on wisemove website, just so we have a rough idea the amount of space required. Depending on total volume, and how much we load into your trailer, if we can get it under 20m3 then we could send our smaller truck, which would cost you less then the bigger truck i had based the qoute off thanks

It’s estimating at 25m3

Great, thanks! Yeah, we always go with the higher number it estimates, last thing we want is to leave behind a few boxes.
We do have a 30m3 truck, so I think with your trailer and the truck we should be able to fit it all in, we may even be able to tow the trailer down for you if the truck isn't too heavily loaded

how would we go about getting ferry tickets as if we take the trailer we would have to get a ticket that includes the trailer

Hi, yes, that's why I mentioned we can take it if the truck isn't too heavy, I think the most heavy stuf will be your engine blocks, gearbox, and engine crane.
We could do it at $4400 and you pay for the trailer on the ferry, or $4600 and we pay for the trailer.
Bluebridge is who we normally use, cheaper then interislander
