We specialize in full-house furniture moving, office relocations - either big or small, and intercity deliveries covering the entire South Island. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. DO YOU PROVIDE INSURANCE?
NO!
Customers must cover or provide their own insurance. We recommend customers to package their items in boxes for safety reasons. We will do our best ensuring we deliver the items in good condition, the way we found them.
2. DO YOU PROVIDE PACKAGING?
We can provide packaging if requested at an extra cost. Customers must provide packaging boxes and cello tapes. We provide blankets to cover big furniture and any fragile items.
LOCAL PICKUP/DELIVERY OF GOODS
Once a job has been booked, we get in touch with customer and arrange pickup time and we normally deliver straight after loading for locals. We advise customers to advise beforehand of any stairs or parking issues at the property.
INTERCITY PICKUP/DELIVERY OF GOODS
Once the job has been confirmed and booked, by then we would have already discussed pickup dates. Delivery time may vary for long distance locations, though updates of whereabouts during the trip will be updated to the customer. Sometimes if arrive late at a location, we can give the option of delivering early in the morning of the next day if the customer is comfortable.
PAYMENTS
Payments are required to be paid in full a day before our team arrives at the location. Cash to be handed over before starting the job at site. For jobs above $800, we require a half deposit as soon as the quote has been confirmed and accepted and the rest of the payment will be made a day before the team arrives on site.
CANCELLATION
If a customer wishes to cancel a local job, they can do so 3 days prior to the moving date, this allows us to rearrange other jobs. If a customer wishes to cancel an Intercity Job, we require 7 days’ notice.
