NZ Nationwide Movers Limited is a professional moving company based in Auckland; however, we cover the whole nation with weekly trips.
We are a NZ-owned family business providing very professional services to our customers. We aim to offer a very competitive price, ahead of our competitors.
We have a 23 cubic metre truck with professional staff who are 100% friendly, as our aim is to provide our customers with excellent service, communication, and deliver goods with complete care and without any damage.
We have a storage facility based in Auckland for customers who need storage space.
Below are our terms and conditions as updated in March 2026. Please read carefully before accepting any bookings and making quotes via Wise Move.
1. Liability Clauses
1a. The company shall not be liable for any loss of, damage to, or failure to produce any goods under removal caused by any delay in transit by rail, sea, or air/Act of God such as storm, theft.
2a. Damages must be reported to us within 24 hours after delivery. Failure to do so means no claims and compensation will be accepted strictly after the delivery by NZ Nationwide Movers.
3a. Goods carried into the property are taken at the owner's risk. We do not accept any liability for damages to the property at either end. We also act under instructions from our client who has booked us and no one else.
4a. All quotes on Wise Move do not include packing, dismantling, or assembly services - this can be arranged at an extra cost. NZ Nationwide Movers will charge you extra for all these services not included in the quote. Customers who need pack and move services should inform us 72 hours before moving day for arrangements to be made.
5a. For highly fragile items like TVs and other electronic items, customers are required to box and bubble wrap them before moving day. NZ Nationwide Movers will take good care of items in transit but wonāt accept any liability for compensation for any damages in transit.
6a. For e-bikes/mirrors, customers are required to properly pack them in boxes with bubble wrap. NZ Nationwide Movers will use moving blankets to protect items, but any damages and scratches will not be accepted for compensation strictly.
2. Payments and Conditions
NZ Nationwide Movers will require 25% of payment upon booking acceptance. On moving day, the full amount of payment is required strictly from customers. Chest of drawers/tallboys must be fully emptied as these items are very risky and heavy to carry and may break during transit.
3. Cancellations
All deposits are non-refundable unless the job is cancelled by us. This is to compensate for the time and dates reserved specifically for your job. If NZ Nationwide Movers cancels the job due to unforeseen circumstances, your deposits will be fully refunded. Pickup cancellations 24 hours or less: 100% of the full cost.
4. Packing and Weights
All removals must be packed and ready to go. NZ Nationwide Movers wonāt assemble or disassemble furniture or move whiteware off cabinets (if not bubble wrapped by customers). Our staff can assist in putting furniture in rooms, but this is done at the owner's risk. No liability is taken. No assembly or disassembly is included.
Please ensure the maximum weight of each moving box is only 20kg strictly and not overweight, hence NZ Nationwide Movers will charge extra for all overweight items.
5. We require all customers to strictly provide us with a correct inventory list prior to booking acceptance. If we find any additional items not included in the inventory list, NZ Nationwide Movers will charge for all extra items moving.
6. Unpaid Payment
Unpaid payments will be referred to collection agencies for collection. All costs will be fully recovered.
7. Insurance
7a. Personal effects, electronics, and household goods are transported at the owner's risk. We wonāt accept any claims. We can also arrange Carrier's Liability Insurance, which needs to be pre-arranged with us and will incur extra costs, arranged through a third party.
