Make My Move is a Wellington-based moving and transport company with extensive experience servicing the wider Wellington region. Intercity moves can also be arranged as required.

We operate trucks and a van, allowing us to efficiently handle everything from single-item deliveries to full household and commercial relocations.

Your belongings matter. We hold Carrier’s Liability Insurance through Marble Insurance, providing cover of up to $2,000 per item. A $250 excess applies and is payable by the customer if a claim is made. Additional insurance can be arranged upon request prior to booking.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all moves and transport are carried out at the owner’s risk.

Payment is due upon delivery via internet banking or cash.

The movers came around early and help organise and help rotate for the move in date. Movers were really good organised and handled products with care. Helped get everything in. Asked if we needed to get anything else in the car and managed it. Packaged my tv very safely The delivery location was a stew narrow path that would have been trying and they brought everything down with care! Would recommend them again!

Wow! What an amazing team. I was dreading the move after a previous experience but Joe and his team of Bros were amazing. They arrived on time, were full of smiles and ready to go. They had the contents of a large house packed in hour and then unpacked in another hour. They were professional, took care of our goods and most importantly took the stress out of the whole experience. I can't praise them enough and can personally speak to anyone considering a house moving company. Communication was top notch. If you want to move, only move with the brothers. The Best team by far. A huge thank you from our family :)

I had a fantastic experience moving my 2-BHK home with this company. The entire team was incredibly friendly, punctual, and cooperative throughout the process. When our belongings couldn't fit in a single trip, they were proactive and organized a second pickup for the following week without any hassle. ( please confirm the truck size before you book your booking) I especially want to highlight the truck driver, Josh—he is an excellent professional and a very kind person. The company provided great support during the entire transition. Highly recommended!

These guys did a great job on an interisland move between Christchurch and Tokoroa - we ended up having more items than expected but they were lovely and made the effort to accommodate all of our items and made the process as low stress as possible, which we really appreciated. Great communication and packing around fragile items, very pleased with the overall care of goods, even non-fragiles were blanketed and well taken care of. The house we moved to had a narrow entranceway that was really awkward and made it hard to bring in larger items, but they went above and beyond to bring those items inside and were very respectful of the space - laying down blankets and taking care not to damage any walls or floors. Only minor issue was their timings were slightly later than expected, albeit partially due to weather conditions and poor road conditions, but that wasn't a big problem for us as we arranged for pickup the day before we had to move so had more time and would recommend you build in extra time just in case if you have a more time sensitive move. Overall very very happy with the price and quality of service, and would definitely recommend and use Rapid Transport Services again in the future.
