At Haul of Duty Transport, our mission is simple: to move your vehicle quickly, carefully, and with exceptional customer service. With our team of professional drivers, fully insured transport options, and reliable nationwide network, we are committed to making your New Zealand vehicle relocation completely easy and stress-free.

1. Insurance & Liability
We operate under the Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017 (Limited Carrier's Risk).

Liability Limits: Under this Act, Haul of Duty Transport is not liable for accidental damage, theft, or the loss of vehicle contents while the vehicle is in transit, parked, or stored.

Carrier Coverage: In the unlikely event that damage occurs due to proven carrier fault, our liability is strictly limited to a maximum of $2,000 (inclusive of GST) per transit.

Our Recommendation: We strongly advise all clients to maintain comprehensive vehicle insurance. Please ensure your policy explicitly extends to cover your vehicle while "in transit between places in New Zealand" via a professional transport provider holding a valid Transport Service Licence (TSL).

2. Cook Strait Ferry Bookings
Inter-island transport relies heavily on third-party ferry schedules, which are subject to high demand and weather conditions.

Cancellations: Once a ferry sailing has been booked for your vehicle, any subsequent cancellation by the customer will result in the customer being liable for the full cost of the ferry ticket.

Scheduling: Pickup and delivery windows are estimates and may shift based on ferry availability and sailing disruptions due to adverse weather.

3. Payment Terms
To ensure a smooth transit schedule, we enforce strict payment timelines.

Timing: Full payment must be cleared on or before the scheduled pickup date. We do not offer extended credit terms.

Payment Method: At this time, we accept payment via Bank Transfer only.

Legal terms and conditions

RTS (Red's Transport Solutions) operates under the Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017 (Limited Carrier's Risk).

RTS is not liable for damage, theft, or the loss of vehicle contents outside of our parameters (duty of care).

In the event that damage occurs due to our fault, our liability is strictly limited to a maximum of $2,000 (inclusive of GST) per transit.

We are a specialized transport company that use purpose designed and built fully 'Enclosed' trailers for protection from the elements.

Insurance:
Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017 - Limited Carriers Risk

This means that Traxx Transport Limited, trading as Traxx Direct Transport is not responsible for damage, theft or vehicle contents. This extends to while in transit, parked or stored. Unless in the unlikely event we are at fault, our insurance covers up to $2000 incl GST for any liable damage only.

All non-runners and pre-damaged vehicles are relocated at the owner's risk.

We recommend having comprehensive insurance cover in place and ensuring your policy extends to "in transit between places in New Zealand". This covers your vehicle when using a professional transport provider, by definition a company with a Transport Service Licence.

We pride ourselves on being able to offer a priority, client focussed service, at competitive rates while looking after your pride and joy like it was our own.

We are passionate about road racing and can understand the joys of getting dirty on those Motocross/Speedway bikes and are happy to go the extra mile to get your bike where it needs to be on time. We know the road racing circuits intimately, can follow the arrows etc for the motocross events and we can also carry your dads ride on mower, grandads mobility scooter and your brothers quad bike.

We have a strong connection within the motorcycle community and industry. Our team competes in national level events and also has ties with workshops and dealers throughout New Zealand.
