NZ Nationwide Movers Limited is a professional moving company based in Auckland; however, we cover the whole nation with weekly trips.

We are a NZ-owned family business providing very professional services to our customers. We aim to offer a very competitive price, ahead of our competitors.

We have a 22 cubic metre truck with professional staff who are 100% friendly, as our aim is to provide our customers with excellent service, communication, and deliver goods with complete care and without any damage.

We have a storage facility based in Auckland for customers who need storage space.

Below are our terms and conditions as updated in March 2026. Please read carefully before accepting any bookings and making quotes via Wise Move.

1. Liability Clauses
1a. The company shall not be liable for any loss of, damage to, or failure to produce any goods under removal caused by any delay in transit by rail, sea, or air/Act of God such as storm, theft.

2a. Damages must be reported to us within 24 hours after delivery. Failure to do so means no claims and compensation will be accepted strictly after the delivery by NZ Nationwide Movers.

3a. Goods carried into the property are taken at the owner's risk. We do not accept any liability for damages to the property at either end. We also act under instructions from our client who has booked us and no one else.

4a. All quotes on Wise Move do not include packing, dismantling, or assembly services - this can be arranged at an extra cost. NZ Nationwide Movers will charge you extra for all these services not included in the quote. Customers who need pack and move services should inform us 72 hours before moving day for arrangements to be made.

5a. For highly fragile items like TVs and other electronic items, customers are required to box and bubble wrap them before moving day. NZ Nationwide Movers will take good care of items in transit but won’t accept any liability for compensation for any damages in transit.

6a. For e-bikes/mirrors, customers are required to properly pack them in boxes with bubble wrap. NZ Nationwide Movers will use moving blankets to protect items, but any damages and scratches will not be accepted for compensation strictly.

2. Payments and Conditions
NZ Nationwide Movers will require 25% of payment upon booking acceptance. On moving day, the full amount of payment is required strictly from customers. Chest of drawers/tallboys must be fully emptied as these items are very risky and heavy to carry and may break during transit.

3. Cancellations
All deposits are non-refundable unless the job is cancelled by us. This is to compensate for the time and dates reserved specifically for your job. If NZ Nationwide Movers cancels the job due to unforeseen circumstances, your deposits will be fully refunded. Pickup cancellations 24 hours or less: 100% of the full cost.

4. Packing and Weights
All removals must be packed and ready to go. NZ Nationwide Movers won’t assemble or disassemble furniture or move whiteware off cabinets (if not bubble wrapped by customers). Our staff can assist in putting furniture in rooms, but this is done at the owner's risk. No liability is taken. No assembly or disassembly is included.

Please ensure the maximum weight of each moving box is only 20kg strictly and not overweight, hence NZ Nationwide Movers will charge extra for all overweight items.

5. We require all customers to strictly provide us with a correct inventory list prior to booking acceptance. If we find any additional items not included in the inventory list, NZ Nationwide Movers will charge for all extra items moving.

6. Unpaid Payment
Unpaid payments will be referred to collection agencies for collection. All costs will be fully recovered.

7. Insurance
7a. Personal effects, electronics, and household goods are transported at the owner's risk. We won’t accept any claims. We can also arrange Carrier's Liability Insurance, which needs to be pre-arranged with us and will incur extra costs, arranged through a third party.

"I specialize in fragile freight, including antique or valuable furniture items. I can handle single items or up to 15 square meter loads. I treat all items with the utmost care as if they were my own. As I work alone, I may require assistance for loading or unloading heavy items. My services cover the Auck-Hawke's Bay-Well-Taranaki region. I also travel to all North Island towns south of Orewa."

Please note this is a family-owned and operated business, and depending on your job, we own a fully-covered box truck, a ute/van for the smaller jobs, a flat-deck truck and different types of trailers. Please note that for building material delivery, timber will be tipped off where possible

Payment must be made in full before or on the day of the delivery if you require more time for payment this must be approved by us all unpaid balance will be referred to a debt collection agency and customer will be charged for any additional fees from the debt collection agency


We'll transport your vehicle with the utmost care and attention. Vehicles are transported at the owners' risk, and we advise having full cover (including "while in transit" cover) while transporting for your peace of mind. We have a maximum of $800 including GST carrier liability insurance.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHEN BOOKING VIA Wise Move - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING - Updated June 2021

1. All deposits are non-refundable unless the job is canceled by us. This is to compensate for the time and dates reserved specifically for your job. If Ace Movers cancels the job due to unforeseen circumstances, your deposits will be fully refunded.

2. Please ensure your Wise Move inventory is as accurate as possible. We allocate trucks based on this estimate and failure to list all goods may result in additional charges or items being left behind. Last-minute capacity is often sold at a premium.

3. ALL GOODS ARE CARRIED AT THE OWNERS' RISK. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CLAIMS.

4. Goods carried into the property are taken at the owners' risk. We do not accept any liability for damages to the property at either end.



INSURANCE:

Personal effects, electronics, and household goods are deemed to be transported at the OWNERS' RISK and we do not accept claims pursuant to the Carriage of Goods Act 2015.

Should we be deemed responsible for intentionally damaging or losing items, our maximum liability will be your $200 home and contents insurance excess. You will be asked to file a claim.

Moving Day:
* All removals must be packed and ready to go.
* We do not assemble or disassemble furniture or move whiteware off cabinets.
* Our staff can assist in putting furniture in rooms, but this is done at the owners' risk. No liability is taken. No assembly or disassembly is included.

Television Sets:
Please note:
TVs that are not in a box are not covered by our Goods in Transit insurance if damaged. It is the customer's responsibility to box the TV (WE TAKE ALL CARE BUT).

MIRRORS:
ALL MIRRORS SHOULD BE PROFESSIONALLY PACKED. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES. WE WILL DO OUR BEST BUT NO CLAIMS WILL BE CONSIDERED.


Packed Boxes:
Please note that the maximum weight for an item is 20kg, according to OHS regulations. Customers often pack boxes that weigh 40 or 50kg, which is not acceptable. In such cases, we will not accept any claims for damages. It is the customer's responsibility to pack boxes weighing no more than 20kg and with a maximum size of 50cm x 50cm.

Packaging:
All goods are to be packaged and ready to go on Pickup Day. If goods are not packaged, we may cover them with moving blankets for the journey, but no claims will be accepted if furniture /item is damaged or arrives dirty.

Car / Bike / Motorbike Parts:

We do not accept claims for second-hand parts or fittings.

Chest of Drawers:
All chests and drawers must be empty and not filled with clothes or belongings. This makes it harder to lift and increases the risk of breakage during long trips. No claims will be accepted if boxes are filled.


Terms and Conditions for Cancellations:

In the event of cancellations or change of mind, the following applies:

Pickup cancellations 96 hours or earlier:
40% of the full booking cost.

Pickup cancellations 24 to 96 hours prior to pickup:
50% of the total cost.

Pickup cancellations 24 hours or less:
100% of the full cost.

The customer will be billed accordingly and must pay within 2 days. Failure to do so will result in the matter being referred to a debt collection agency such as Baycorp. We will also bill Wise Move for their 15% commission and any cancellation costs.

Waiting charges- $100 plus GST per hour ( will be charged due to any reason by customer)

SOUTH ISLAND BOOKINGS:

If a ferry has been booked and the customer cancels, they will be liable for the full ferry costs. The above cancellation policy also applies.

When booking:
Please note that quotes are based on the inventory list provided on the Wise Move platform. We do not charge by the hour but according to the list provided by the customer. Any additional items will incur extra charges or may be left behind.

PAYMENTS:
Payments must be made on or before the delivery day. No other terms are allowed.


Unpaid Bills:
Unpaid bills will be referred to collection agencies for collection. All costs will be borne by the customer.
