NZ Nationwide Movers Limited We are a professional moving company based in Auckland; however, we cover the whole nation with weekly trips.
We are a NZ-owned family business with very professional services provided to our customers. We aim to provide a very competitive price, also ahead of our competitors.
We have a 30 cubic truck with professional staffs who are 100% very friendly as our aim is to provide our customers excellent service with communication and deliver goods with complete care and without any damages
We have storage facility based in Auckland and Christchurch for customers who needs storage space
Below are our terms and conditions as updated of March 2026 please do read below carefully prior accepting any bookings and making quotes via Wise Move
1.Liability Clauses
ALL GOODS ARE CARRIED AT THE OWNERS' RISK as per the Carriers Act of New Zealand 1979 . WE DO NOT ACCEPT CLAIMS.
1a . The company shall not be liable for any loss of, damage to or failure to produce any goods under removal caused by any delay in transit by rail, sea or air/ Act of god such as storm, theft
2a .damages to be reported to us within 24 hours after delivery failure to do so
no claims and compensation will be accepted strictly after the delivery by nz nationwide movers
3a. Goods carried into the property are taken at the owners' risk. We do not accept any liability for damages to the property at either end. We also act under instructions from our Client who has booked us and no one else
4a. All quotes quoted on Wise Move doesn't include Packing or Dismantle or Assembly Services - this can be arranged as extra cost nz nationwide movers will charge you extras for all this services not included in the quote
For customers who needs pack and move service to inform us prior 72 hours before moving day for arrangements to be done
5a. For highly fragile items like tv and all other electronic items will require customers to box and bubble wrap them prior moving day nz nationwide movers will take good care of items in transit but won’t take any liability of compensation of any damages in transit
6a. For e-bikes/ mirrors will require customers to proper pack them in boxes with bubble wraps nz nationwide movers will use moving blankets to protect items but any damages and scratches we won’t accept any liability for compensation strictly.
2. Payments and conditions
Nz nationwide movers will require 25 % of payment upon booking is accepted.
Moving day will require full amount of payment strictly from customers
Chest of drawers/tall boys/ please ensure to fully empty them as this items are very risky and heavy to carry to break during transit.
CREDIT CARD payments have a surcharge ad imposed by banks 2.5 to 3.5 %
3. Cancellations
.All deposits are non-refundable unless the job is canceled by us. This is to compensate for the time and dates reserved specifically for your job. If NZ Nationwide movers cancels the job due to unforeseen circumstances, your deposits will be fully refunded.
Pickup cancellations 24 hours or less:
100% of the full cost.
4. Packing and weights
All removals must be packed and ready to go
Nz nationwide movers won’t assemble or disassemble furniture or move whiteware off cabinets ( if not been bubble wrapped by customers )
Our staff can assist in putting furniture in rooms, but this is done at the owners' risk. No liability is taken. No assembly or disassembly is included.
Please ensure maximum weight of of each moving box should be only 20kg strictly
and not over weight hence nz nationwide movers will charge extras for all over weight items
5. We will require all customers to strictly provide us with correct inventory list prior booking is accepted if we find any additional items not included in the inventory list nz nationwide movers will charge for all extra items moving
6. Unpaid Bills:
Unpaid bills will be referred to collection agencies for collection. All costs will be fully recovered
7. Insurance
7a. Personal effects, electronics, and household goods are to be transported at the owners risk we won’t accept any claims
We can also arrange Carrier's Liability Insurance, which needs to be pre-arranged with us and will incur extra costs, arranged through a third party.
